Confessions of a fabric hoarder

As I have mentioned, it has been a little on the warm side here in California. Giving up the comfort of AC and climbing into a hot car was a difficult decision. We headed out to Thousand Oaks, CA for The Conejo Valley Quilter’s 2015 show. The show was very nice and well put together. I saw several quilts that caught my eye and there were many others that I could appreciate the hard work that went into them. That being said, I sure would like to see more contemporary works. A bold use of color really draws me to a quilt and so many quilts still embrace that Thimbleberries/Debbie Mumm color palette. I know everyone likes different things, but I’m proud to say that I survived those years with a few pictures to remind me of my quilting journey!

Some of those Thimbleberries may just now be getting finished, too, Scott. I love the elephant one. Do you know who did it?
