Kept In Stitches

Confessions of a fabric hoarder

For my birthday this year, Greg treated me to a wonderful weekend away. On Friday morning, we headed toward Northern California and before we knew it we were in Santa Clara. I’ve heard all sorts of stories about how incredible the Pacific International Quilt Festival and I looked forward to seeing the show for myself. This show totally exceeded all my expectations. So much creativity and color…quilts from the United States, Japan, Australia, Israel, Africa…incredible! There was also a very moving exhibit called Threads of Resistance…Greg actually got a little teary walking through the exhibit. This is a quilt show that will definitely be on my calendar for years to come…wanna plan to go with us next year?
