Last weekend I attended the Art From Cloth exhibit in Thousand Oaks, CA. Art From Cloth is an exhibit done by Extreme Quilters, a group of approximately 27 women. Their informal group focuses on creating quilts with original designs. Over the years, members of the group have shown their work in galleries and have been accepted into prestigious juried exhibits.
I saw some really beautiful pieces in this exhibit…these ladies definitely think outside the box. Great work! I wish I could provide some pictures, however, I was quickly shut down when asked if I could take some pictures for my blog…their loss!
