Kept In Stitches

Confessions of a fabric hoarder

It’s that time of year again when there are plenty of quilting events. I was very pleased to be involved with the Vintage to Vanguard show in Camarillo, CA. The show was held on the Channel Islands University campus. Many of the buildings belonged to Camarillo State Hospital, which is said to be haunted. While I was going through nursing school many years ago, I had to opportunity to visit the campus before the State Mental Hospital was slated to close.
Great location as well as so many pretty quilts…but, no ghosts.
