Confessions of a fabric hoarder

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to see a friend’s art exhibited at a gallery in downtown Los Angeles. Our adventure took us to Chinatown and Olvera Street… it had been a few years since we had been in the area, and it was fun to be out on such a beautiful day. In The Shadows by Lavialle Campbell featured her quilted pieces as well as some of her glass works. The exhibit addresses the dark and shadowy spaces related to illness and finding the beauty which is there. I absolutely loved this exhibit and was amazed by her creativity. Her pieces never cease to amaze me!
