Confessions of a fabric hoarder

This past month at VMQG we had a zipper challenge. Each person that wanted to be involved was asked to bring in a fat quarter of their own fabric. The fabric was then exchanged to another member and they had creative control to make a zippered item for that person out of their fabric. But it had to include a zipper. I searched high and low for a pattern that I thought to be different and one that nobody else would do. I made Teresa a zippered scissor cozy from the purple batik fabric that she supplied. The fabric I chose was a black graphic fabric and Ann Kaz was the recipient of my fabric. She not only made me an awesome bag , she made an additional mini to match. I love it!

The participation turnout was good and everyone seemed thrilled with the outcome of this challenge.
