Confessions of a fabric hoarder

My cousin, Lindsay, is going to have a baby sometime next month. She already knows that it’s going to be a boy. The new parents have decided to name him River Jack. I absolutely love his name. I love the name so much that I decided to make River his first quilt.

The first quilt I made turned out very different than this one. After consulting with Greg, we decided that the first one was a little too modern and complex for a baby quilt. I really wanted to keep with the water theme and use as many greens and blues as I could. This is one of those projects that I enjoyed from start to finish.
