With the lovely Spring weather here, the weekend presented the perfect opportunity to go on another shop hop. The Orange County Shop Hop consists 6 shops and it’s ‘do-able’ in a day. Each of the participating shops gave out a free fat quarter (floral themed) and a pattern from each of the shops. Fabric designer, Frances Newcombe, joined us for our road trip. We had an incredible time and got some amazing inspiration from the shops. Did I mention that I bought some fabric? Well, that’s kind of a given. I did practice restraint…that means under 10 yards. I made this little hexie thing when we returned home Saturday night. Not too sure what it will be. My first thought was to make a tote bag. But, I’d like to make something different. I’ll have to think about this one.
